Celebration of Self

This is a painting about self esteem and is intended to raise awareness of self-reflection and positivity. It is about expressing good feelings about ourselves by understanding all the best parts of who we are. The painting celebrates the network of moments and relationships that nourish our love of live. It is a personal work about the successes in my own life and the gifts I am grateful for. It is not so much about what is missing or what I desire, but of recognising what I have learned from life’s experiences. There are significant events, there are times and places, there are relationships and loves, there are people I wont forget; all part of my networked construction of a self which I am celebrating in this painting.
