For Mark

This watercolour is one of a pair of paintings for a husband and wife. The symbol at the centre of this work is that of the “creation stories” which are the accounts of life and living that each of us have been brought up with. For Mark, this painting asks him to reflect on his own stories as he looks over his successes and achievements over time. The important question that now challenges him is “where to from here?”. I hope that when Mark reflects on this painting he will see that the answer to this question is likely to be found in love and family connections.
